Job summary

Cortica is hiring an Occupational Therapist in California to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on evidence-based, play-centered therapy for children. You will work with families to design individualized plans and deliver engaging therapy that targets sensory processing, motor skills, and daily living activities.

Applicants should have a Master’s in Occupational Therapy and an active California OT license, with a passion for pediatric care and family collaboration.

Qualifications

• California OT license required.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience with pediatric therapy and collaboration with families.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans reflecting each child's strengths, interests and goals.
• Deliver play-based therapy focused on sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor development, self-care, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary clinical team to provide integrated care.
• Participate in co-treatment sessions when clinically appropriate.
• Educate caregivers with practical home strategies to support progress.
• Maintain documentation and billing to support high-quality care.
• Contribute ideas to strengthen and grow clinical programs.
