Job summary

Cortica is hiring an Occupational Therapist in California to deliver play-based, evidence-informed therapy for children. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans and engage families in the process.

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop tailored plans, and provide home strategies, documentation, and co-treatment when appropriate. Competitive salary and strong support for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Current California Occupational Therapy License.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Passion for working with children and their families.
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Experience with pediatric therapy preferred, but clinicians with strong pediatric foundations are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete OT evaluations using standardized and dynamic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans reflecting each child's strengths and goals.
• Deliver play-based therapy focusing on sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor development, self-care, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary clinical team for integrated care.
• Participate in co-treatment sessions when appropriate.
• Educate caregivers with practical home strategies to support progress.
• Maintain documentation and billing for high-quality care.
• Contribute ideas to strengthen clinical programs.
• Productivity: 26 direct patient care hours per week.
