Job summary

Playworks is seeking a Site Coordinator to provide on-site consultation to schools and youth partners, delivering demonstration-style guidance and professional development to staff. The role shapes a positive classroom and recess culture through Playworks best practices and play-based strategies.

You will partner with administrators, teachers, and recess staff to implement program components, coach staff, and support leadership development, with travel across regional locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven organizational skills in planning and delivering programs.
• Extensive knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• At least 2 years of experience working with children and groups.
• Experience facilitating meetings and training for adults.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based program across multiple elementary schools.
• Coordinate with school staff to schedule delivery and manage paperwork and data.
• Lead on-site coaching, consultation, and modeling for staff.
• Coach recess staff to create safe, engaging experiences.
• Organize and coach the Junior Coach leadership program.
