Job summary

Stewart’s Shops is seeking a Class A CDL driver to deliver products to our NY & VT shops around Plattsburgh, NY. This full-time position offers steady work with comprehensive benefits. Openings are based at our South Catherine Street shop in Plattsburgh.

You will load/unload, read manifests, and coordinate with shop personnel daily. Previous CDL experience is preferred but inexperienced drivers are welcome to apply for this role.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL License.
• Possess a clean safety and driving record.
• Inexperienced drivers welcome to apply.
• Ability to unload products up to 50 pounds using provided equipment.
• Ability to comply with spending consecutive hours on your feet moving merchandise.
• Ability to work independently while still meeting daily deliverables.
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with shop personnel.
• Strong customer service skills to assist customers in our shops.

Schedule

• Full time schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Early morning start times, rotating days off, and 10–12-hour shifts.
• Average annual salary of $75k.
• Openings based out of our shop on South Catherine Street in Plattsburgh.
