Job summary

SCHOTT AG is seeking a Supervisor for Platinum, Refractory, and Mold Shop Services in Pennsylvania. This role involves designing glass melting equipment in SolidWorks, overseeing a union workforce, and managing raw earth material orders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and substantial hands-on experience in SolidWorks design, welding, and CNC programming. The position includes a variety of benefits, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks design and modeling including FEA analysis.
• 3+ years of experience in welding technology preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with CNC programming or tool and tie.

Responsibilities

• Design glass melting equipment in SolidWorks.
• Order raw earth materials including Platinum and Iridium.
• Supervise union workforce including welders and CNC machine operators.
