Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking a motivated Plating Operator in Danboro, PA. You will work with the plating team to operate multi-tank equipment, ensure safety protocols, and inspect finished products. The role involves 6S adherence, PM tasks, and continuous improvement participation.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, good communication skills, and 1+ years plating experience, preferably with zinc plating. Onsite role with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently runs plating process to specs using procedures and work instructions.
• Operates a multi-tank computerized plating machine.
• Uses PPE and performs tank maintenance and waste handling.
• Loads/unloads product from plating line and dryers; inspects finished product.
• Maintains cleanliness and follows 6S in work area; participates in CI activities.
• Performs daily PM and measures plating thickness with X-ray equipment.
