Job Details: Cabot, PA 16023 – Full Time – Rotate between day, afternoon, and/or midnight shifts – Manufacturing category – Electroplating Technician

Join Penn United Technologies as a Full‑Time Electroplating Technician. You'll work alongside a skilled plating team to help set up and maintain electroplating operations, contributing to the production of high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the efficient setup and maintenance of the plating lines
  • Assist with plating and inspection of the parts
  • Assist with the preparation of parts for shipping
  • Interpret specifications, internal part prints used for part set-up and inspections, and job orders
  • Maintain a job tracking system
  • Help track and maintain chemical inventories used in the plating process
  • Perform visual inspection of all plated products, using a microscope
  • Study the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectively
  • Perform work procedures to meet schedules, using knowledge of capacities of the machines and equipment
  • Maintain accurate time and production records
  • Perform necessary housekeeping duties on the line
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Self‑motivated, ability to work effectively under pressure and with a heavy work load
  • Able to make quick, effective and accurate decisions
  • Solid technical, mechanical and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
