Job summary

4over is seeking a Plating Technician for the 2nd shift in Arlington, TX. You will set up and operate CTP plating equipment, including Kodak Prinergy, Magnus Platesetter, and Kimori systems, to ensure on-time production of printing plates for the Press Department.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 1 year of related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and strong attention to detail with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend job assignment tickets and customer instructions (≤140 chars)
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing systems (≤140 chars)
• Attention to detail and teamwork to ensure quality production (≤140 chars)

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure and operate the plating equipment (CTP)
• Access batching system to view press schedule and identify priority jobs
• Examine job orders for quantity, stock, color(s) and special instructions
• Liaise with press crew to troubleshoot plate/press issues
• Monitor supplies and inform management of potential production delays
• Maintain records and ensure safety, housekeeping and PPE compliance
• Attend department meetings and perform other duties as assigned
