Everestsearchpartners is seeking a Plater to perform all aspects of the plating process for aerospace and industrial components. Responsibilities include preparation, masking, fixturing, plating operations, and teardown.

The role supports Hard Chrome, Thin Dense Chrome, Cadmium, Copper, and Electroless Nickel. Shifts include 2nd (2pm-10:30pm PST) and 3rd (10pm-6:30am PST).

Formación

• Experience in electroplating or related manufacturing processes preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with masking, fixturing, and tooling.
• Understanding of plating chemistry and process controls (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare parts for plating including cleaning, masking, and setup
• Design and build anodes, racks, fixtures, and tooling as required
• Perform ID (inner diameter) and OD (outer diameter) plating operations
• Set up and operate plating tanks and equipment
• Monitor plating parameters including time, temperature, and current density
• Apply masking techniques to protect critical surfaces
• Perform assembly and fixturing prior to plating
• Conduct teardown and post-process handling of parts
• Ensure proper documentation and traveler completion
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Work closely with Quality and Production teams to meet customer requirements

Our client is looking to fill a 2nd shift 2pm-10:30pm PST, and a 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am PST

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in a chemical processing environment with appropriate PPE
