Job summary

Volt in Valencia, CA is seeking a Plating Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will inspect, clean, and prepare parts for Cadmium plating and perform chemical processing steps under Nadcap and OEM guidelines, with a focus on quality and compliance.

The role is full-time, contract-to-hire, with shift options: 1st shift 6:00 am–2:30 pm, 2nd shift 3:00 pm–11:30 pm. Pay is $20.00–$30.00 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires prior employment experience with chemical processing and related procedures.
• Experience with inspection methods, materials and equipment used in plating.
• Ability to follow and document processing per internal, customer, OEM and FAA rules.

Volt is immediately hiring Plating Technician in Valencia, CA.

As a Plating Technician, you will:

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, cleaning, and preparing parts for Cadmium plating.
• Performing chemical processing (hard chrome, sulfamate nickel, LHE cadmium plating) of landing gear components in accordance with company, customer, Nadcap and OEM policies and procedures.
• Providing technical support to fellow platers, planners, and lab technicians on matters relating to chemical processing.
• Ensuring processing is documented in accordance with internal, customer, OEM and FAA requirements, including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/traveler, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs.

This is a Full-time, Contract to Hire opportunity.

Qualifications

Requires previous employment experience for the services sought, including practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment generally used for maintenance activities performed by the repair station, specifically as they relate to chemical processing.

Pay Rate

$20.00 - $30.00 Per hour

Special Requirements

DOT/FAA Safety-Sensitive Position, FAA drug screen required.

• 1st Shift: 6 am - 02:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: 3 pm - 11:30 pm
