Job summary

RESRG Automotive is seeking a Plating Process Engineer for its Morehead, KY facility. You will manage the plating line, supervise technicians, and optimize process performance to deliver high-quality parts.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting defects, maintaining equipment, and developing standard work instructions; you will work within safety and environmental policies while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Production manufacturing leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Experience troubleshooting processes in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plating line operations and manage technical aspects of the plating process.
• Troubleshoot plating production defects to ensure high-quality parts.
• Oversee maintenance of plating equipment, wastewater and wet lab.
• Develop QS9000 work instructions for the plating department.
• Define process limits through experimentation and data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
