Job summary

RESRG Automotive is hiring a Plating Process Engineer for our Morehead, KY facility. The role focuses on managing the plating line, troubleshooting defects, and ensuring high-quality parts while complying with environmental and safety standards.

You will lead Plating Process Technicians, develop process instructions, and drive improvements in yields and cost efficiency within a dynamic, global auto supply environment.

Qualifications

• Production leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience troubleshooting processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Analyze plating solutions using wet chemistry and equipment.
• Develop strategies to maintain plating equipment and processes.
• Manage Plating Process Technicians and waste water/wet lab activities.
• Develop QS9000 work instructions for plating operations.
• Improve processes, standardization, layout design, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Promote 5-S and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Report environmental concerns and incidents to management promptly.
