Job summary

GW Lisk Company Inc is seeking a Plating Operator in New York. The position requires training on the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, M-F) for 4-6 weeks, then moves to the 2nd shift (4:00pm-2:30am, Mon-Thu) with a 15% shift differential.

You will operate plating tanks, handle coatings, and ensure quality and safety throughout production. Responsibilities include plating, coating and passivating metal parts using chemical solutions, interpreting production documents, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write to interpret production documents.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to understand verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and tend to plating tanks.
• Plating, coating and passivating metal parts using chemical solutions to meet specs.
• Meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and follow PPE requirements.
