Job summary

Electroswitch, located in Weymouth, MA, is looking for two Plater A professionals to join the manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The newly created roles involve performing barrel plating and rack plating operations, monitoring chemical levels, and maintaining a clean work environment. A $2.00/hour shift differential is available for all hours worked on 2nd shift. Ideal candidates should have prior experience with plating processes and a commitment to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with barrel plating and rack plating operations.
• Ability to monitor plating tanks and maintain chemical levels.
• Familiarity with safety and hazardous chemical handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform barrel plating and rack plating operations.
• Monitor plating tanks and chemical levels.
• Add and maintain plating chemicals as required.
• Load, unload, dip, and hang parts for plating processes.
• Check plating thickness and quality.
• Operate plating and related production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production and plating logs.
• Follow all safety and hazardous chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support additional manufacturing operations as needed.
