Job summary

Somic America Inc. is hiring a Plating/Machine Operator to load and unload parts, set up CNC machines, and monitor quality during fast-paced production. The role requires reading specifications, performing measurements, and following safety procedures on a team-oriented line environment.

You will perform tooling changes, check for malfunctions, and assist with maintenance while adhering to quality policies and EMS procedures in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Basic math and SPC understanding.

Responsibilities

• Feeds or removes material from machines.
• Sets up and operates numerical control machine to machine or assemble components to specifications.
• Measures and inspects parts for conformance to specifications.
• Adjusts machine, clears jams according to procedure.
• Notifies Team Leader or Supervisor of discrepancies.
• Completes line PM’s and maintains a safe work area.
