Job summary

Sanoh America in Findlay, OH is seeking a Plating Operator for the B shift. You will safely and efficiently run production processes and troubleshoot as needed, ensuring you remain within set tolerances.

This role requires following job instructions, maintaining quality specifications, and training others on additional processes while complying with safety and housekeeping policies; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• General understanding of metric length measurement; specifically measuring length in millimeters.
• Basic reading and comprehension; able to read and understand instructions and safety rules.
• Basic math skills to verify measurements and tolerances.
• Good communication and listening skills for team collaboration.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking to identify solutions.
• Detail-oriented with ability to verify multiple characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate production equipment and processes.
• Maintain and report production, efficiency, scrap, and capability data daily.
• Read, understand, and adhere to job instructions for processes.
• Follow safety, housekeeping, and conduct policies.
• Understand and maintain quality specifications for processes.
• Train for additional production processes as required.
• Train other associates on production processes as needed.
• Use personal protective equipment per policies.
• Adjust controls to meet tolerances and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain tooling, manage changeovers, and verify alignment.
• Understand and adhere to all instructions including hazardous materials handling.
