Socket.dev in Great Falls, MT is seeking a Platform Operations Coordinator to maintain and upgrade multiple client platforms, coordinate patches and releases, and serve as SME for the Symitar core. The role collaborates across internal teams and with clients to plan updates and improve processes.

You will manage project schedules, generate maintenance checklists, communicate timelines, and ensure documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years of experience in financial institution core processing.
5+ years of experience with the Symitar core platform.
Experience managing multiple projects at once.
Two years of related programming experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, plan, and oversee upgrades of credit union user platforms, including service packs and major releases.
Administer platforms by adding new users and performing other tasks as assigned.
Organize and open prep tickets for each event and track activities.
Open ancillary product upgrade tickets and provide documentation/testing checklists.
Participate and oversee coordination during upgrade, patching, and release events.
Ensure checklists are up to date for maintenance events.
Coordinate maintenance communications and MSI distributions to clients.
