Job summary

National Grid is seeking a Platform Technical Lead for Enterprise Network Services to own the technical journey of the ENS platform. You will drive vision, architecture, and modernization across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and security, aligning with business priorities and security requirements.

You will own platform health, lifecycle, and governance, partner with global stakeholders, and lead automation, AI strategy, and CI/CD practices to deliver scalable, reliable network services across the US and UK.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the network domain with leadership experience
• Hands-on network automation and systems integrations
• Experience with multi-vendor enterprise networks and security
• Proven track record delivering architecture governance and lifecycle management
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust concepts and SASE principles

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for ENS platform
• Lead modernization, standardization, lifecycle management and OT/IT convergence
• Provide architectural leadership across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and security
• Govern standards, guardrails, and architecture governance processes
• Own platform health, performance, capacity planning and cost optimization
• Develop KPIs for reliability, security, and business value realization
• Mentor engineering teams and drive automation and AI strategy
