Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Platform & Systems Enablement Lead to bring up and deploy new Waymo platforms across stages from prototype to deployment. You will collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to rapidly identify and resolve issues, and drive operations for sensor suites and base vehicles to readiness at scale.

You will engage automotive partners and test drivers for observations and training, and help shape hardware design needs aligned to operations and scale.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related technical subject or equivalent practical experience in a technical field or role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholders and cross functional audience.
• Demonstrated experience working with large cross functional teams in a program/product based environment and external partners.
• Deep Operations experience in helping bring-up hardware and platforms in critical mission environments.

Responsibilities

• Bring up and enable deployment of new and upcoming Waymo platforms across program phases from prototype requirement state to deployment.
• Work with engineering and cross functional stakeholders on fast feedback, issue discovery and resolution.
• Manage and drive operations for new sensor suite and base vehicle to ensure maturity and large scale deployment readiness.
• Work with automotive partners and partner test drivers on operational observations, feedback, and training.
• Help create and drive hardware design and platform feature needs based on optimization for Operations & Scale.
