Job summary

Trust In SODA is seeking a Platform Support Engineer to join our US technology team. You will be the first point of contact for infrastructure and platform issues, collaborating with software engineers, traders and data teams to keep critical systems running around the clock.

You will work across AWS and on‑prem environments, contribute to automation with Terraform and Ansible, and use Prometheus, Grafana and OpenSearch to investigate production issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Support, DevOps, Infra or SRE roles with strong operational responsibilities.
• Hands-on with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible and observability tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure support requests from triage to resolution.

As the company continues to expand its US technology presence, we're looking for a Platform Support Engineer to become a key member of the Platform team, providing technical support across critical production infrastructure that underpins a global business operating around the clock.

The Role

This isn't a traditional IT support role, and it isn't purely project-focused DevOps engineering.

You'll be the first point of contact for infrastructure and platform issues, working closely with software engineers, traders, data teams and business users to keep critical systems running smoothly. You'll troubleshoot complex production issues, support cloud infrastructure, improve automation, and identify opportunities to make the platform more reliable and efficient.

You'll be joining a small, experienced Platform team where everyone contributes across the technology stack, meaning you'll gain exposure to cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, security and production operations from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own infrastructure support requests from initial triage through to resolution.
• Support production environments running across AWS and on-premise infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot Linux, networking, cloud and application issues.
• Maintain and improve infrastructure managed through Terraform and Ansible.
• Work with Docker and Amazon EKS-based workloads.
• Use observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana and OpenSearch to investigate production issues.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering and business teams through responsive, high-quality support.
• Improve operational processes through automation, documentation and self-service tooling.
• Participate in a shared on-call rota supporting business-critical infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

You'll likely have experience in a Platform Support, DevOps, Infrastructure or Site Reliability Engineering role with strong operational responsibilities.

We're interested in people who have experience with:

• Linux administration and troubleshooting
• Terraform
• Ansible
• Prometheus, Grafana or similar monitoring platforms
• Networking fundamentals and production troubleshooting

Just as important as your technical skills are your communication and problem-solving abilities. You'll enjoy working with people, take ownership of issues, and remain calm under pressure while supporting business-critical systems.

Experience within financial services, trading or other high-availability environments would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
