Job summary

InfraCloud is seeking a Security Engineer to deploy and manage security tooling across large-scale cloud and on-prem environments. You will work with Platform SREs to implement security pipelines and promote secure practices throughout the SDLC, SBOM, SIEM, runtime security, and forensics.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in distributed systems, strong cloud-native security knowledge, and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, automation, and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in handling services in a large-scale distributed system.
• Deep understanding of network stack (TCP/IP, routing, SDN).
• Proficient in cloud-native systems and security practices.
• Programming or scripting in Python or Go with automation skills.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and DevSecOps patterns.
• IaC experience with Ansible and Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage security tooling and promote secure practices across platforms.
• Collaborate with Platform SREs to deploy security pipelines platform-wide.
• Drive design, implementation, and support of security tooling for compliance.
• Develop policies and procedures to improve platform security.
• Lead security incident response, remediation and forensics.
• Audit, automate manual efforts, and build dashboards for CVEs and vulnerabilities.
