Job summary

Visionist, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - Platform on a fully funded program requiring Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph.

The role focuses on deploying cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), building CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining observability for production services. The engineer will work within small teams to rapidly iterate and deliver mission-critical software on a premier contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; 4 years of experience may substitute degree.
• 3 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency with Python or another modern programming language.
• Understanding of containerization concepts and tooling such as Docker.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting AI capabilities (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for repeatable deployments.
• Configure and use observability tooling to monitor production services.
