Job summary

Thehumanoid in San Diego is hiring a Software Engineer for the Platform Infrastructure team. You will work with a technical lead on device identity and security, building the backbone for provisioning, deployment, and cloud enrollment of our humanoid robots.

Expect to contribute to secure boot pipelines, fleet-scale cloud infrastructure, and modern AI-assisted coding practices while growing into a world-class platform engineer.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• BS or MS in CS, CE, EE, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, TypeScript, or Rust.
• Comfort working on-site in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship software for platform infrastructure, from backend services to provisioning and test systems.
• Learn alongside a senior engineer and gain real ownership of deliverables.
• Collaborate daily with firmware, applications, cloud, manufacturing, and operations teams across local and global offices.
• Embrace AI-assisted coding tools and workflows to move faster with quality.
• Own growth as the platform infrastructure workstream scales with business needs.
