International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is hiring a Technical Support Engineer for the Platform, Security & Cloud (PSC) team in the US. The role focuses on solving complex security, networking, and infrastructure issues within Confluent Cloud and Confluent Platform.

You will collaborate with customers' engineering and security teams to diagnose issues and provide field feedback. You will lead live sessions, reproduce/diagnose problems, and help craft KB articles while expanding your

Formación

Excitement about streaming data and becoming an expert in Apache Kafka.
Track record diagnosing, reproducing and resolving customer issues in dynamic environments.
Comfortable on live calls during production-impacting issues and clear in explanations to customers and engineers.
Confident on the Linux command line, reading logs and stack traces to find root cause.

Responsabilidades

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues across Confluent Cloud and Confluent Platform, focusing on security, cloud networking and Kubernetes deployments.
Lead live troubleshooting sessions with customer engineering, network and security teams on production-impacting issues.
Reproduce problems, analyze logs/configs, and escalate clearly to engineering when a bug or platform limit is found.
Provide real-time product feedback to engineering and contribute to knowledge base articles and documentation.
Support team process improvements and expand knowledge of Apache Kafka and Confluent ecosystem.
