IBM Software is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to help customers troubleshoot security, networking, and cloud infrastructure within Confluent Cloud and Platform. You’ll work with customer teams and escalate to engineering when needed, building strong field feedback.

You will lead live sessions, analyze logs, and contribute to KB articles while deepening your expertise in Apache Kafka and the Confluent ecosystem on a platform that values learning and collaboration.

Competenze

Experience diagnosing, reproducing and resolving customer issues in unfamiliar environments.
Able to explain findings clearly to customers and engineers during live calls.
Comfortable on the Linux command line, reading logs and stack traces to find root cause.
Knowledge of security (TLS/certificates, authentication) and cloud networking concepts.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, Ansible or Terraform for deployment scenarios.

Mansioni

Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues across Confluent Cloud and Confluent Platform, focusing on security, cloud networking and Kubernetes deployments.
Lead live troubleshooting sessions with customer engineering, network and security teams on production-impacting issues.
Reproduce problems, analyze logs and configuration, and escalate clearly to engineering when a bug or limit is identified.
Provide real-time product feedback from the field and author knowledge base articles and documentation.
Help improve team processes and deepen knowledge of Apache Kafka and the Confluent ecosystem.
