Job summary

Addepar, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to own the roadmap for Observability and Compute/Network within the Foundation Engineering group.

You will define how engineers understand system health through metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and on-call tooling, while guiding provisioning, container orchestration, networking, and cost management. Qualifications

• Prior product management experience owning infrastructure-facing products.
• Ability to define a roadmap and deliver infrastructure capabilities.
• Fluency in observability or compute/network domains with informed prioritization.
• Track record managing infrastructure/platform product development with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Prioritize investments based on reliability, security, and cost.
• Experience evaluating or driving adoption of observability platforms or tooling.
• Familiarity with SRE practices: SLOs, incident management, etc.
• Familiarity with regulated industries such as financial services.
• Experience driving infrastructure adoption and self-service models.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the roadmap for Observability and Compute/Network teams.
• Balance reliability, security, needs of developers, and cost in the roadmap.
• Define and track outcomes (SLOs, MTTR/MTTD) and prioritize investments.
• Drive self-service tooling: dashboards and provisioning via secure paths.
• Partner with ISR to translate security findings into priorities.
• Gather feedback via incident retrospectives and on-call surveys.
• Represent roadmaps to leadership and stakeholders; communicate tradeoffs.
• Monitor OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Kubernetes, and cloud networking trends.
