Job summary

Addepar is hiring a Product Manager to own the roadmap for Observability and Compute/Network within Foundation Engineering.

You will define and drive the roadmap for how engineers understand system health (metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, on-call tooling, SLOs) and the compute/network substrate their services run on (provisioning, container orchestration, networking, security posture, capacity planning, cost).

Qualifications

• Prior product management experience in infrastructure-facing products.
• Ability to define roadmaps and translate reliability problems into scoped work.
• Fluency across observability and compute/network domains to guide prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the product roadmap for Observability and Compute/Network teams across metrics/logging/tracing, alerting, and on-call tooling.
• Define and track outcomes for reliability, performance, developer experience, and cost with measurable KPIs.
• Drive the self-service agenda for instrumentation, dashboards, and provisioning with secure defaults.
• Partner with ISR to translate security requirements into roadmap priorities.
• Gather feedback from engineering teams to identify visibility gaps and translate into roadmap priorities.
• Represent roadmaps to platform leadership and cross-functional partners with clear tradeoffs.
• Monitor industry trends to inform build-vs-buy and roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across time zones.
