Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, scale, and mature its multi-cloud platform hosting Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless services. You will lead automation, tooling, and operations while ensuring exceptional customer experience across global infrastructure.

You will work with Golang experts and Kubernetes in distributed teams, focusing on reliability, incident management, and on-call rotations. Compensation is salary-based with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform reliability and customer-first problem solving.
• Background in software engineering to collaborate with engineers on solutions.
• Experience with public cloud and managed Kubernetes services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take an engineering approach to lead initiatives for automating system engineering to ensure reliability.
• Grow and maintain Platform infrastructure to meet scaling demands.
• Foster inclusive collaboration and operational excellence across teams.
• Respond to major incidents and drive problem management using follow-the-sun on-call rotation.
