Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure SRE to design, automate, and scale multi-cloud infrastructure across providers and regions. You will build internal tooling, improve reliability, and strengthen observability while collaborating across time zones.

You will work with Golang, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, contributing to runbooks, architecture decisions, and postmortems to reduce toil and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Production experience operating large-scale cloud compute via automated workflows.
• Deep experience with Linux systems and OS-level debugging.
• Experience building software with Golang; comfortable reviewing others’ code.

Responsibilities

• Engineering software to automate large-scale systems and build internal tools.
• Optimize reliability and lifecycle of hosts across multiple cloud providers.
• Strengthen observability with alerting and monitoring systems.
• Scale global infrastructure and evolve management processes.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor teammates.
