Job summary

Amplemarket is seeking an infrastructure & automation engineer to scale and automate our cloud platform for high availability and performance. You will design reliable rollouts, improve observability, and work with product, engineering, design, customer success, and support to ensure smooth production releases.

You will review architectures, identify failure modes, and implement reproducible automations to reduce toil while maintaining security and performance across our growing stack.

Qualifications

• Design and maintain complex/large growing systems.
• Debug production issues end-to-end and identify root causes.
• Strong focus on metrics, observability, and reliability.
• Proactive mindset with willingness to fix issues and improve.
• Security-minded approach to systems engineering.
• Comfort working across GMT-3 to GMT+2 timezones.

Responsibilities

• Scale Amplemarket's core cloud platform for availability and performance.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, eng, design, and support to rollout features safely.
• Review code, architectures, and proposals; contribute to architectural decisions.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and create reproducible processes.
• Define solutions to save internal teams time during production moves.
• Keep systems updated against threats and patches with a security-first mindset.
• Participate in continuous improvement of development workflows.
