Job summary

Toast seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to own the Toast IQ monthly agent release program across multiple lines of business. You will design end-to-end release processes, set platform readiness bars, and coordinate go-to-market so naming, packaging, and messaging land as a single platform story.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, support, and finance, earning influence through clear decisions, governance, and scalable operating rhythms as Toast IQ scales.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of technical program management with software engineering teams.
• Experience owning cross-functional programs end to end from design to launch.
• Ability to discuss architecture, dependencies, and risk with engineers.
• Proven track record building repeatable operating models.
• Experience managing cross-org dependencies and non-direct reports.
• Strong written communication for executive-level updates.

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and improve the monthly agent release program end to end across all lines of business.
• Set platform-readiness bar and manage dependencies with engineering teams.
• Drive go-to-market coherence across lines of business with PMM and GTM.
• Instrument launch health and build reporting that matters and feed back to R&D leadership.
• Make defensible decisions in ambiguous situations and escalate when needed.
• Establish operating rhythms and cross-functional alignment across multiple engineering teams.
