Job summary

FIS seeks a senior leader to own and evolve the Quality Engineering Platform within the Developer Experience group in Jacksonville, FL. You will set vision, drive multi-year roadmaps and lead multiple engineering teams to deliver automated testing and AI-powered quality signals.

You will partner with DevSecOps, observability and AI platforms to embed quality in the developer workflow from commit to production, measuring adoption and release confidence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
• End-to-end platform ownership: strategy, roadmap, delivery and adoption.
• Hands-on with test automation, CI/CD and modern quality practices.
• Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or Claude Code).
• Ability to quantify quality with metrics and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the direction of the Quality Engineering Platform and lead the teams.
• Define vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap for AI-enabled quality
• Drive platform adoption across engineering teams for faster, reliable testing.
• Partner with DevSecOps, observability and AI teams to embed quality.
• Manage operating model: priorities, budget, tools and SLAs.
