You will drive adoption across engineering, emphasize test automation, and align platform goals with business outcomes. The role is hybrid in Jacksonville with a focus on delivering measurable quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading software engineering teams and through managers or tech leads.
• Track record of owning a platform or product end-to-end: strategy, roadmap, delivery and adoption.
• Deep hands-on understanding of test automation, CI/CD and modern quality practices.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code and their impact on testing quality.
• Ability to express quality in measurable metrics and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap for the Quality Engineering Platform in a world where AI writes/tests much of our code.
• Lead and grow Quality Engineering Platform teams, collaborating with Principal Engineer and Delivery Manager.
• Build quality capabilities for AI-generated code and automated testing before merge.
• Drive platform adoption across FIS engineering teams as the fastest path to reliable testing.
• Partner with DevSecOps, Developer Experience, observability, and AI teams to embed quality in the workflow.
