Job summary

Motive is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional programs that strengthen platform foundations and improve engineering delivery at scale. You will partner with VP Platform Services and Engineering Managers to translate priorities into measurable roadmaps and drive execution across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in technical program management or related roles within software/platform teams.
• Proven track record leading large, ambiguous, multi-team programs with cross-functional dependencies and measurable impact.
• Strong technical fluency to engage with engineering leaders on architecture, trade-offs, and delivery risks.
• Demonstrated ability to structure programs, drive decisions, and solve complex problems in fast-paced environments.
• Experience aligning senior stakeholders and improving governance across interdependent teams.
• Bias for action and root-cause problem solving beyond Jira hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Translate organizational priorities into clear, executable program roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
• Lead end-to-end execution of cross-functional technical programs across Platform Services Engineering.
• Manage goals, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and risks with clear operating rhythms.
• Build scalable program mechanisms: roadmap reviews, status reporting, escalation paths, success metrics.
• Identify systemic issues and lead durable solutions supporting objectives.
• Influence stakeholders to make informed tradeoffs and keep initiatives moving forward.
• Mentor teams in program management practices and elevate execution standards.
• Drive quarterly business reviews, executive reporting, and cross-org communications.
