Job summary

Amplify is seeking a Project Manager, Platform, to be the operational heartbeat of a cross-functional product team. You own complex delivery spanning software features, digital content, service design, and physical materials to hit launch milestones with excellence.

You partner with writers, designers, and engineers to synchronize work and ensure readiness for market. In this contractor role, you’ll map critical paths, mitigate risks, run planning rituals, and optimize throughput while planning

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of project management experience in EdTech, software, or publishing.
• Fluent with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/Stage-Gate for mixed production.
• Able to ship products across web and physical formats.
• Excellent tooling skills with Jira and Smartsheet; dashboards and trackers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate complex delivery across software features, digital content, and materials.
• Master the critical path and protect launch dates with long-lead items.
• Drive risk mitigation and proactive problem-solving.
• Facilitate planning and execution rituals with clear ownership.
• Own digital and service readiness for commercial launch.
• Analyze velocity and capacity; remove bottlenecks in editorial/workflow.
• Plan resources 2–3 quarters ahead for staffing and production peaks.
• Manage vendors and partnerships with SLAs and performance reviews.
• Communicate progress with data-backed updates and trade-offs.
