Job summary

Forvis Mazars is seeking a Platform Product Owner II to maximize the strategic value of enterprise platforms. You will lead platform vision, strategy, and execution while partnering with executive leaders, Product Line Managers, technical teams, and vendors.

The role requires experience with product management, enterprise SaaS, and Agile delivery. You will champion lifecycle governance, adoption, and continuous improvement while mentoring others and guiding firm-wide strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product ownership or product management experience.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and driving platform adoption.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Lean, and backlog management.
• Experience with lifecycle management, requirements gathering, and release planning.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, data governance, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform strategy, vision, and roadmap in collaboration with executives and Product Line Managers.
• Establish adoption metrics and drive continuous improvement across platforms.
• Own full platform lifecycle: evaluation, implementation, enhancements, releases, retirement.
• Manage intake, gather requirements, backlog prioritization, and translate needs into epics and features.
• Develop functional specs, acceptance criteria, wireframes, and supporting docs.
• Prioritize work based on value, risk, effort, dependencies, and capacity.
• Coordinate governance of templates, assets, and standards; scope integrations as needed.
• Partner with development teams for custom development and integrations.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, SLAs, and escalations.
• Coordinate upgrades, release planning, testing, and deployments.
• Oversee stakeholder testing: regression, UAT, performance, and security validation.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, Data Governance for platform stability and compliance.
• Maintain platform documentation, governance standards, and operations procedures.
• Mentor junior product owners and promote Agile, Lean, and continuous improvement.
