Reports to: Chief Product Officer

Veson is entering an exciting next phase in the evolution of its platform. AI and agentic workflows are creating new opportunities to transform how maritime professionals work, while customers increasingly expect software to be connected, extensible, intelligent, and easy to adopt.
We are looking for a Platform Product Leader to define and lead the strategy for the shared capabilities that power Veson’s products and enable the next generation of customer experiences.
This leader will have responsibility across AI and agentic capabilities, APIs and ecosystem, collaboration and communication, and core platform and governance. They will lead and develop a team of product managers responsible for these areas and work closely with Engineering, Design, and other leaders across Veson.
This is not an infrastructure-only role. This leader will ensure platform investments translate into better customer experiences, faster innovation, greater extensibility, and easier adoption at scale.
We are open on level for this role. Depending on your experience, this position may be hired at the Director, Senior Director, or Vice President level.
The scope and responsibilities described here are the same across levels. Title and compensation will reflect the depth of product leadership you bring, including the size and complexity of the portfolios you have owned, the teams you have built and led, and your track record of delivering measurable customer and business impact.
Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for Veson’s platform infrastructure and shared services. Lead and develop a high-performing platform product team and establish strong product practices and accountability across the portfolio.
Help build and scale Veson’s emerging AI business by establishing the shared capabilities that power intelligent and agentic experiences across our products — including agentic frameworks, orchestration, workflow automation, human-in-the-loop experiences, reusable AI capabilities, and AI governance.
Make Veson increasingly open and extensible through APIs, developer experience, integration frameworks, technology integrations, and a strong developer and partner ecosystem.
Shape the capabilities that enable users to communicate and collaborate through Veson, including messaging, notifications, and shared collaboration experiences.
Drive foundational capabilities including identity, permissions, administration, entitlements, data governance, and shared platform services — balancing enterprise-grade control with an intuitive customer experience.
Ensure the platform is not only powerful, but easy to adopt and use. Reduce friction across onboarding, activation, configuration, administration, and expansion, and enable product-led and self-service growth motions where appropriate.
You will establish a clear and compelling platform strategy and build an organization capable of executing against it. You will accelerate Veson’s ability to bring differentiated AI-powered experiences to market, increase reuse of common capabilities across products, strengthen our API and ecosystem strategy, and create a more cohesive and intuitive platform experience.
Ultimately, the platform should become a force multiplier for Veson — allowing us to innovate faster while creating a more intelligent, connected, extensible, and scalable experience for customers.
You are a senior product leader with significant experience building complex B2B or enterprise software products and leading high-performing product teams.
Candidates hired at the Vice President level will typically also bring experience leading other product leaders and owning strategy for a multi-product or company-wide platform portfolio.
Experience enabling successful product-led growth, self-service onboarding, activation, adoption, or expansion motions, particularly in an enterprise environment.
Maritime experience is not required. Experience understanding complex workflows, enterprise customers, and sophisticated product ecosystems is more important.
