Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Program Engineering Manager to lead a persistent HIL and validation infrastructure for SDV2 and future platforms. You will define asset strategy, ownership, and lifecycle, aligning with platform milestones and vehicle-program timing.

You will collaborate with Chief Engineer and PEMs to translate strategy into investments, establish onboarding models, and drive execution across software, hardware, and validation teams, ensuring readiness for launches.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience with hardware, software, or systems.
• Experience in HIL, SIL, Co-Sim, and vehicle integration environments.
• Proven ability to define and manage physical assets and labs.

Responsibilities

• Define persistent HIL and physical-validation strategy for SDV2.
• Partner with PEMs to integrate asset readiness into platform plans.
• Establish SDV2 asset portfolio and onboarding model.
• Govern bench BOMs, release integrity, and asset configurations.
• Build persistent regression capabilities and night-regression readiness.
• Lead cross-functional operating rhythms and executive communications.
