Job summary

Episode Six US is seeking a Platform Operations Specialist to manage cloud infrastructure, releases, and platform reliability across our global E6 Cloud environment. You will support Linux/Windows servers, databases, and onboarding activities for clients, ensuring robust uptime and scalable deployments.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, Python scripting, and Terraform, with a strong emphasis on monitoring, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years AWS Cloud management experience.
• 2+ years experience using Python scripting.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Perform Software Releases and Infrastructure Updates.
• Manage multiple PaaS instances of the E6 Cloud platform.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure (e.g., RDS, LB, networking, storage).
• Maintain Linux and Windows servers.
• Maintain SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Support software development and testing activities.
• Support client onboarding and migrations.
• Test system backups and Disaster Recovery plans regularly.
• Conduct daily infrastructure monitoring and maintenance.
• Create and maintain internal documentation.
• Participate in a standard on‑call rotation with other team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Platform Operations Specialist!

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

• Perform Software Releases and Infrastructure Updates
• Multiple PaaS instances of E6 Cloud platform
• Cloud infrastructure (e.g., RDS, LB, networking, storage)
• Linux and Windows servers
• Maintain SQL and NoSQL databases
• Support software development and testing activities
• Support client onboarding and migrations
• Routine testing of system backups and Disaster Recovery plans
• Regular daily Infrastructure Monitoring and Maintenance
• Create and maintain internal documentation
• Participate in a standard on‑call rotation with other team members
• Other duties as assigned

What experiences and skills are necessary to be successful in this role:

• 3+ years AWS Cloud management experience (or other relevant Public Cloud provider)
• 2+ years experience using Python scripting
• Demonstrated infrastructure troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as‑Code tools such as Terraform
