Platform Loader Role & Responsibilities

• Move product from packaging lines to trailers or staging areas.
• Organize product staging areas for efficient loading.
• Load products onto trailers, ensuring proper stacking and damage prevention.
• Check date and price codes, remove out-of-code products, and label accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Assist other shipping employees as needed.
• Unload inbound products on the platform.
• Complete load sheets and other paperwork accurately.
• Perform trailer checks and report damages or issues.
• Inform management of inventory and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with packaging to ensure accurate product counts.

Safety & Sanitation

• Follow safety guidelines and report incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to GMPs.

Requirements & Physical Demands

• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Reach approximately 7 feet high.
• Capable of moving throughout the plant and inspecting products.
• Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
