Job summary

Allstate Northern Ireland Limited is seeking a Platform Consultant to drive Azure migration, API integrations, and DevOps readiness within platform delivery streams.

You will partner with product, engineering, security/compliance, and vendors to turn business intent into actionable solutions, document risks, and deliver secure, compliant data migrations.

Join a cross-functional team to design, validate, and implement scalable platform solutions that protect customers and streamline operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in platform delivery.
• Hands-on API and integration experience (Postman).
• Azure/cloud experience essential.
• Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments).
• Ability to execute within platform delivery, not just architecture.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate requirements into solutions.

Role Scope & Requirements

Highly cross-functional role, partnering with Product, Engineering, Platform, Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, Vendors. Operates as a bridge between business intent and engineering execution. Embedded within platform delivery streams, supporting modernization and integration work.

Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day

• Support platform solution design and integration strategies


• Perform hands‑on API validation and testing (e.g., Postman)


• Assist in Azure migration planning, environment readiness, and cutover execution


• Coordinate DevOps readiness: Repo access, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes


• Support data migration planning and validation (including PHI/PII considerations)


• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security, and integrations

• Produce technical documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder updates

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

Preferred Experience (Nice‑to‑Have)

• Tech stack exposure: .NET / C# / SQL / Cosmos DB Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, IaC tools


• Experience with: API tools (Postman) Cloud/data migration and cutover activities Regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST)


• Exposure to: Microservices, event-driven architectures Vendor/platform integrations Emerging areas (Azure AI, OpenAI integrations)

Compensation

The base salary for this role ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually. Please disregard the broader compensation range listed below, as it reflects the full job family rather than this specific position.

Skills NET Framework, Technology Platforms, Windows Azure Cloud Compensation compensation offered for this role is 120,000.00 - 193,725.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
