Job summary

Allstate is seeking an Organization Overview, Function, Purpose & Platform Consultant to join our health tech initiatives. You will bridge platform delivery, design, and execution across Product, Engineering, Platform, Security and Compliance teams.

You will validate APIs with Postman, support Azure migration planning, CI/CD readiness, and help govern PHI/PII data migration and HITRUST compliance within regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years progressive experience in related roles.
• Hands-on API + integration experience.
• Azure/cloud experience with platform delivery focus.
• Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments).
• Ability to execute within platform delivery, not just architect.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Collaborates with engineers to translate business requirements.
• Documents risks, decisions and dependencies clearly.

Organization Overview, Function, Purpose & Platform Consultant Work Scope

• The team supports Allstate Health Solutions (AHS) technology platforms, enabling Product delivery, Platform modernization, Secure integrations and Operational stability across key platforms (Quotit, AgentCubed, AHIT, Medicare Benefits)
• This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, solution design, and delivery execution, with a strong hands-on focus (not purely advisory)

Key deliverables

• Active Azure cloud migration and platform modernization initiatives
• Growing complexity of API integrations and third-party ecosystems
• Support strong delivery support (environments, pipelines, cutover readiness)
• Managing data migration + compliance (PHI/PII, HITRUST) concerns

Org & Team Fit

• Highly cross-functional role, partnering with Product, Engineering, Platform, Security/Compliance, Infrastructure, Vendors
• Operates as a bridge between business intent and engineering execution
• Embedded within platform delivery streams, supporting modernization and integration work

Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day

• Support platform solution design and integration strategies
• Perform hands-on API validation and testing (e.g., Postman)
• Assist in Azure migration planning, environment readiness, and cutover execution
• Coordinate DevOps readiness:
• Repo access, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes
• Support data migration planning and validation (including PHI/PII considerations)
• Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across environments, security, and integrations
• Collaborate with engineering to translate business requirements into implementable solutions
• Produce technical documentation, decision logs, and stakeholder updates

Required Qualifications (Must-Have)

• 7+ years progressive experience
• Hands-on API + integration experience
• Azure/cloud experience
• Working knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD, repos, deployments)
• Ability to execute within platform delivery (not just architect)
• Strong communication + documentation skills
• Work directly with engineers (debug, validate, iterate)
• Communicate across technical and business stakeholders
• Document risks, decisions, and dependencies clearly

Preferred Experience (Nice-to-Have)

• Tech stack exposure:
  • .NET / C# / SQL / Cosmos DB
  • Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, IaC tools
• Experience with:
  • API tools (Postman)
  • Cloud/data migration and cutover activities
  • Regulated environments (HIPAA, PHI/PII, HITRUST)
• Exposure to:
  • Microservices, event-driven architectures
  • Vendor/platform integrations
  • Emerging areas (Azure AI, OpenAI integrations)

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 120,000.00 - 193,725.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
