Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program designed to pair you with a platform team. You will contribute to high-impact projects, automate processes, and build real-time dashboards while gaining insight into how a global hedge fund operates.

You will collaborate with professionals, work on cross-functional projects, and present your work to senior leaders by summer’s end. Assigned to one of several platform teams, you will gain mentorship, attend a speaker

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in finance, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, business, computer science, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail.
• Collaborative, team-oriented, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Interest in hedge funds/financial services.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Work on real, high-impact projects within a platform team (Data, Accounting & Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology, Treasury, HR, Marketing, or Business Development).
• Contribute to operations and infrastructure, automate processes, build real-time dashboards and tools, and improve efficiency.
• Engage in strategic projects beyond day-to-day team duties.
• Leverage AI tools to contribute from day one.
• Participate in a trading simulation with interns and present work to senior leaders.
