Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced Atlassian & ServiceNow Engineer to administer and optimize enterprise-scale environments. You will ensure platform reliability, automate workflows, and deliver secure, scalable solutions for internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and ServiceNow, plus strong IAM, RBAC, SSO, and security governance expertise. Hybrid work and cross-team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience administering and engineering Atlassian and ServiceNow environments.
Strong platform administration, automation, and integration capabilities.
Knowledge of identity management, RBAC, SSO, and platform security controls.
Experience with Agile and DevOps environments.
Customer-focused with ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Atlassian products including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Atlassian Marketplace apps.
Administer ServiceNow modules including Service Catalog and Knowledge Management.
Manage configurations, upgrades, patches, and platform releases.
Ensure platform availability, performance, and capacity management.
Design, build, and maintain workflows, forms, approvals, and automation rules.
Develop and optimize ServiceNow Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and IntegrationHub.
Configure Jira workflows, schemes, screens, permissions, and automation capabilities.
Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow, Atlassian tools, and enterprise systems.
Support REST APIs, webhooks, middleware, and integration frameworks.
Develop scripts and automation using JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
Troubleshoot integration failures and performance bottlenecks.
Monitor platform health, usage, performance, and adoption.
Develop operational dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting.
Mentor junior administrators and platform support personnel.
