Job summary

Georgia Student Finance Commission is seeking a Platform and Infrastructure Manager to lead our enterprise infrastructure, spanning cloud and on‑prem environments. You will drive automation, standardization, and self‑service for developers while ensuring reliable, secure service delivery.

The role emphasizes Infrastructure as a Product, CI/CD maturity, and collaboration with cybersecurity and analytics teams to advance mission critical student aid systems.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree with relevant IT experience.
• Experience leading technical engineering teams.
• Strong cloud, security, and backup/recovery knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee office networks, VPNs, switches, firewalls, and Wi‑Fi.
• Lead platform engineering, automation, and IaC adoption.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and AWS-based deployments.
• Guide cost control, capacity planning, and event/incident response.
• Ensure security, audits, and compliance across cloud and on‑prem environments.
