Job summary

Vertex is seeking a Platform Experience Product Manager to unify the connected tax platform experience across its product portfolio. You will translate business needs into engineer-ready specifications and coordinate with Engineering, UX, and Architecture to deliver a cohesive, scalable platform.

The role requires strong technical communication, solid product judgment, and the ability to prioritize across multiple product teams in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS/cloud-based solutions.
• Translate requirements into engineer-ready specs with API/architecture fluency.
• Navigate multiple product teams and balance priorities with decisive trade-offs.
• Partner with UX and Engineering to deliver cohesive platform experiences.
• Strong analytical skills using data and KPIs to guide decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and leadership audiences.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
