Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a proven engineering leader to drive the Fuse platform, owning critical services and external integrations with partners worldwide.

You will scale architecture, guide a cross-functional team, and champion operational excellence with data-driven decisions and GenAI-enabled automation. Responsibilities include overseeing service portfolios, designing scalable systems, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with Product, TPM, TAM, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years of designing or architecting scalable systems.
• 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services.
• Knowledge of the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and livesite operations.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Own ownership of multiple platform level services integrated with Amazon Commerce system.
• Oversee service architecture, scalability, and technical direction across the service portfolio.
• Lead a 2-pizza team with diverse technical backgrounds; mentor and develop junior team members.
