Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead Platform/DevOps within Cloud Infrastructure Engineering. You will mentor engineers, own delivery for business apps, and evolve CI/CD platforms and observability.

You will partner with Product, Design, Security and Engineering to deliver reliable, scalable developer experiences across AWS and Kubernetes. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, shaping technical direction, and driving operational excellence across modern cloud infrastructure

Qualifications

3+ years of people leadership experience managing engineers.
7+ years engineering in cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
Experience delivering and operating business applications in AWS.
Strong AWS experience: EKS, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch.
Experience with Kubernetes operations, Helm, autoscaling, security practices.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and/or AWS CDK.
Programming in Python, Java, TypeScript, or Node.js.
Familiarity with SRE practices: incident mgmt, SLIs/SLOs, operational excellence.
Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support the growth of a high-performing Platform/DevOps team.
Own delivery for one or more business applications, including roadmap execution.
Establish and improve SLOs, SLIs, on-call practices, and postmortem culture.
Partner with Product, Design, Security, and Engineering to align priorities.
Evolve internal CI/CD platforms, observability, and developer experiences.
