Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to shape roadmaps and own platform capabilities including Observability, DevOps, ITSM and Integrations across multiple data center facilities.

The role leads a small Platform Engineering team, defines requirements, and ensures reliability, security, and timely delivery of high-availability platforms with OpenTelemetry, Grafana stack, and IaC/CI/CD tooling such as GitLab CI/CD, Terraform and ArgoCD.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of platform engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong hands-on expertise with modern DevOps, observability and automation.
• Experience building, operating and securing scalable platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of automated, high-availability platforms.
• Manage Platform Engineering team, roadmap ownership, and technical planning.
• Build and operate OpenTelemetry observability stack and related tooling.
• Develop IaC and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Ensure platform security posture and compliance across multiple sites.
