Job summary

Screen International Group Ltd seeks a Chief Platform Engineer to own the data layer of a next-generation reasoning platform. Lead ontology, knowledge graph, and platform direction, reporting to the CTO. Own production Qdrant vector store, and design secure, auditable pipelines with strict provenance.

You will architect ingestion/entity-resolution pipelines, enforce a symbolic data write path, and drive SOC 2 readiness for regulated data. In-person role in San Francisco with H-1B/L-1 sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Designed and operated production ontologies or knowledge models
• Proven experience with production-grade backends in Python
• Experience building pipelines against heterogeneous data sources
• Ability to lead platform security end-to-end including RBAC/ABAC
• Experience with SOC 2 or regulated-data readiness
• Strong architectural and leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

• Own ontology design and knowledge graph schema
• Maintain production knowledge graph and vector store (Qdrant)
• Architect ingestion and entity-resolution pipelines with provenance
• Lead platform security, encryption, audit trails and compliance readiness
• Drive platform reliability, SLOs, observability across FastAPI services
• Hire and build the platform team
